Banyan Group opens new resort near Mount Emei in China

Banyan Group expanded its Banyan Tree brand in China with the opening of Banyan Tree Mount Emei in the country’s Sichuan Province.
Banyan Tree Mount Emei sits in the foothills of Mount Emei and serves as a gateway to the Mount Emei Scenic Area, part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Banyan Tree Mount Emei is a five-minute drive from Emeishan High-Speed Railway Station and around two minutes from the entrance to the Mount Emei Scenic Area.
“Mount Emei holds a distinctive place in China’s cultural and natural heritage,” Banyan Group senior vice president and head of hotel operations, Northeast Asia and business development, China Philip Ding said.
