The IMAX news comes as Spider-Man: Brand New Day continues an absolutely incredible run at the box office. Early projections suggested the film would finish the weekend with roughly $355 million domestically, placing it just behind Avengers: Endgame and its $357.1 million opening weekend record. Spider-Man: Brand New Day is currently expected to finish with an estimated $927 million worldwide opening weekend, making it the second-biggest global launch of all time. Spider-Man: Brand New Day is now playing in theaters, and beginning August 7, fans will finally have the chance to experience its record-breaking adventure in IMAX.
