The footage, taken by Cllr Craig Reeves, shows the extent of a large fire which took hold of a field on the edge of Harvington. Known locally as 'the dog walking field', the fire spread into the gardens of homes backing onto the field as well as onto the children's play area. Nobody was injured, but some residents were evacuated from their homes and sent for refuge at Harvington Village Hall. "A young man was helping with his drone to show residents their homes from above. Residents were helping to move precious items from homes and support those who were panicked by the speed and spread of the wildfire.
