Q2 D&O pricing almost flat: AonPricing for directors and officers primary policies nudged up in the second quarter for the first time in four years, according to an Aon report released Monday. The average price change for primary policies with the same limit and deductible was up 0.6% compared with the same quarter last year, Aon said in its quarterly report. “The market appears to be firming, as primary pricing has increased for the first time in sixteen straight quarters and total program pricing also increased,” Aon reported. Eighty-five percent of primary policies renewed with the same limit and deductible, and 96% renewed with the same insurer. But increases in securities class action filings and geopolitical and economic concerns may signal a firmer market ahead.
