Officers were called at around 6.10 am on August 3 after reports of an incident in Lower Market Street. It was reported that one woman pulled another to the ground before punching her. A local woman in her 30s has been arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm. Devon and Cornwall Police said the victim and the suspect are believed to be known to each other. The arrested woman remains in police custody at this time.
