Gregg Allman: The Music of My Soul, the acclaimed full-length documentary exploring the life and work of the late Gregg Allman, is set for more than 40 one-night-only screenings at venues across the United States. The screenings will give fans an opportunity to experience the film on the big screen with professional, high-fidelity sound systems. Two dollars from every ticket sold for the screenings will benefit the Gregg Allman Scholarship Funds or a local charitable organization dedicated to supporting live music. “It is incredibly rewarding to bring Gregg Allman: The Music of My Soul to audiences around the country,” says Lehman, who also served as Allman’s longtime manager. “I truly believe Gregg Allman: The Music of My Soul should be experienced more like a live concert than a traditional film.
