Prime Video‘s God of War series may be on the way to finding a new lead actor to replace the injured Ryan Hurst. Dave Bautista is in talks to take on the role of Kratos in the series, which is based on the long-running video game franchise. Should Bautista’s deal go through, the goal is to get God of War back into production in Vancouver in the fall. “Through their adventures, Kratos tries to teach his son to be a better god, while Atreus tries to teach his father how to be a better human.” Sony and Amazon MGM are producing God of War with PlayStation Productions and Moore’s Tall Ship Productions.
