A new study by RotoWire showed the most-hated MLB team in every state. Using rivalries, geographic proximity, and recent postseason matchups, Illinois' most-hated team is the St. Louis Cardinals. The Cardinals were also the most hated team in Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio. The "other" New York baseball team, the Mets, was called the second most hated in 8 states. What I'm saying is, being one of the most-hated teams isn't the worst thing.
