The Jointa Lime Company in Glens Falls was added to the NYS Historic Business Preservation Registry. GLENS FALLS, N.Y. (WNYT)- Jointa Lime Company is marking 175 years in business after earning a place on a New York state registry recognizing historic businesses. Assemblywoman Carrie Woerner presented the official certificate at a special anniversary event at The Hyde Collection in Glens Falls. The company was founded in Glens Falls in 1851. Today, Jointa Lime operates concrete, asphalt and quarry sites across Washington, Saratoga, Essex and Clinton counties.
