A Menands restaurant is still closed a week after two feet of water destroyed equipment and food. MENANDS, N.Y. (WNYT) – A Menands tavern owner said flooding shut down the business for days and caused major losses in equipment and food. Noel said the basement ended up with about two feet of flooding and the fire department was called. She said the basement holds compressors, freezers, the furnace and the ice machine. Noel said they brought in Clarks Cleaning Services to pump out the basement, and she said the cleanup has taken days.
