The deep-cushioned chairs are designed to help visitors rest more comfortably, acknowledging the emotional and physical toll of long hospital vigils.
Karen Jones, end-of-life support assistant at Airedale Hospital, said: "We are incredibly grateful to the Friends of Airedale.
The need for more palliative chairs prompted Ms Jones to begin fundraising herself through a raffle, a cake stall and by approaching local businesses for support.
Presentation of the chairs was made to Ms Jones and Ms Tullett by Friends of Airedale chair Alison Dixon.
Friends of Airedale has raised more than £5.5 million in the past decade to support the hospital and its patients.
