ABC 57UPDATE TWO: The South Bend Police Department reports that the victim was 33-year-old Alberto Soto-Rodriguez.
UPDATE: The South Bend Police Department is now investigating the shooting as a homicide.
Once officers arrived on scene these found a victim with an apparent gunshot wound.
