Brie Bella made an Instagram post today confirming that she suffered a broken scapula (shoulder blade) while teaming with her twin sister Nikki & Paige against Fatal Influence in a six-woman tag match at SummerSlam. The injury appeared to happen when Bella took a cannonball from Jacy Jayne on the outside into the steel steps. When the Bellas turned heel on Paige after losing, Brie was barely able to take part in the angle. Unfortunate timing for the Bellas —Brie’s injury comes just as Nikki Bella is returning from a broken ankle. When Nikki suffered her ankle injury, Paige replaced her and won the belts with Brie before later dropping them to Fallon Henley & Lainey Reid of Fatal Influence.
