BINGHAMTON — The Binghamton Rumble Ponies, Double-A affiliate of the New York Mets, will spotlight the Deposit-Hancock High School softball team at Mirabito Stadium on Wednesday, August 5. The Rumble Ponies will recognize Deposit-Hancock for winning the 2026 New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) Class C state title, which was their fourth in the past five seasons. Deposit-Hancock defeated Galway 4-3 in the NYPHSAA Class C softball championship game June 13, 2026 at Greenlight Networks Grand Slam Park in Binghamton. The Rumble Ponies will honor Deposit-Hancock players and coaches before Binghamton's game against the Hartford Yard Goats.
