A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, August 5 at 11:00 AM at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Bowlus with Father Virgil Helmin officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 5 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church from 9:00 - 11:00 am. Born on June 6, 1940, in Little Falls, MN, to Albin and Florence (Waletski) Zapzalka, Duane graduated from Little Falls High School. His commitment also extended to the community, serving as a Bowlus Fireman for 52 years and later being honored as the Grand Marshal of the Bowlus Parade in 2017. He even achieved a State Championship with Little Falls High School in 1957.
