Comments for Policy Matters Ohio
A recent survey of Black women in Dayton, Cincinnati, and Columbus — conducted by the CEO Project — provides insight into their individual experiences with the health care system in Ohio. Policy Matters Ohio’s new report combines survey findings with analysis of other public health research to illustrate how systemic problems impact individuals, families, and communities — especially Black women. On September 26, Poe will join leaders from the Care Economy Organizing (CEO) Project at a press event to highlight powerful firsthand accounts from Black women whose lives have been directly impacted by the health care disparities revealed in the survey.
