NEWARK, N.Y. — The Village of Newark and Alex Eligh Community Center have announced the building plans for a regional health and wellness campus, which is part of a regional revitalization effort in Wayne County. The campus will be called the “ESL Health and Wellness Campus” for 25 years after ESL secured naming rights. The naming rights cost ESL $ 2 million. The campus will be located between Van Buren Street and Siegrist Street, with two buildings already planned for the property. The second building is expected to be completed in 2028.
