While he doesn’t state it outright, Scotto’s wording suggests Houstan’s contract will be non-guaranteed. He initially signed an Exhibit 10 training camp deal with Atlanta but was converted to a two-way contract shortly before 2025/26 began. Houstan, who is no longer eligible for a two-way contract, will be reuniting with former Magic head coach Jamahl Mosley.
