I'll admit I walked into the Sydney boutique last week with a preconceived idea of the new watch I was about to review. I had, of course, read the specs before I'd seen the watch, and 34.5mm on paper reads small (especially against an Overseas range that's spent years thriving at 41mm). But as I got it on my wrist, I quickly saw why, in just a few days, this Overseas had taken the watch world by storm. Immediately, you’re pulled into the watch’s intensely deep-red lacquer, sunburst satin-finished dial. It gives the 2026 Overseas a larger-than-expected presence that completely defies its 34.5mm measurements.
