Dick Clark Productions has launched DCP Studios, a unit designed to expand the company’s creative and production capabilities for awards shows including the Golden Globes, “Dick Clark’s New Years’ Rockin’ Eve,” Academy of Country Music Awards, American Music Awards and other programs.
The division will be led by Yosef Johnson, who most recently served as senior VP and head of Vox Creative, a division within Vox Media, which was recently acquired by Penske Media Corporation.
PMC is also the parent company of DCP and Variety, which is part of the newly established PMX unit.
He’s held leadership roles at Group Nine Media, NowThis and Wieden+Kennedy New York, working on brands such as Nike and ESPN.
Additionally, DCP Studios will also serve as the branded production studio for PMX brand partnerships.
