New 560m² boutique signals Cape Town’s rising status in Africa’s luxury fashion marketWESTERN CAPE: Louis Vuitton has opened a new flagship store at Cape Town’s Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, relocating from its original site to a purpose-built space more than 1.6 times its previous size — growing from 340m² to 560m². The move places South Africa firmly in the conversation as luxury fashion houses expand their footprint on the continent. Louis Vuitton first opened in Cape Town in December 2007 and reconfigured that store in August 2019.
