The Orioles announced that they have acquired outfielder Rece Hinds from the Marlins in exchange for cash considerations. Hinds played in just one game with Miami. The 25-year-old Hinds has shown big power at times, but it’s always come with an untenable strikeout rate. Hinds burst onto the scene in his first taste of the big leagues back in 2024. Hinds could find his way onto the MLB roster at some point down the stretch.
