Terminally ill woman completes charity walk to thank those who cared for her

Diana Mitchell, 75, from Oakworth, took on the one-mile challenge at Yeadon Tarn, raising more than £1,000 for Sue Ryder.
Diagnosed in 2019 with stage four lung cancer, Ms Mitchell faces complex health problems including osteoarthritis, heart disease, and severe spinal issues.
Despite this, she prepared for months with gym sessions at Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice and completed the walk on Saturday, June 27, surrounded by friends and family.
Her aunt was also cared for by Sue Ryder following a stomach cancer diagnosis.
She raised more than £1,172 for Sue Ryder.
