Questioned by prosecution barrister Stephen Wood KC, Usamah Khan told the court: "I got out of the vehicle and ran for my life. Usamah said Waqqas Khan and Rahees Khan were cousins and that a man called Mohammed Rizwan, also known as "Big Rizzy", was their uncle. The jury heard that Usamah Khan is due to have a trial next year related to an attack on Mr Rizwan. The jury previously heard that Usamah Khan and Zayad Khan allegedly assaulted Mohammed Rizwan in March 2025, and that the group attack on them was in revenge. Alice Dobson, 30, of Nether Hall Road, Baildon, and Rahees Khan deny perverting the course of justice by obtaining and disseminating confidential information held by West Yorkshire Police.
