Gatwick Airport reported the issue on Sunday, August 2, prompting a Notice to Aviation advising pilots to "fuel from outstations if possible." A memo reportedly read: "For attention of all crews: Gatwick has a shortage of fuel for the next two days. But, although the alert was initially scheduled to last until 11pm on Monday, August 3, Gatwick confirmed that the disruption had been resolved and operations were back to normal on Monday morning. A spokesman for Gatwick said: "Following a temporary technical issue yesterday that impacted fuel supply to the airport, we are pleased to report that the issue has now been resolved. "Fuel is flowing as expected, all airlines are operating as normal and passengers should continue to travel as planned.
