WKU Women’s Basketball secures a familiar face as senior guard Josie Gilvin commits to the Lady Toppers following one season at the University of Kentucky according to On3. Gilvin exhausted all four years of eligibility at the end of 2025-2026 season as a part of the 2022 high school class. This allows all student-athletes who graduated high school in 2022 another year of eligibility. If the NCAA appeal is unsuccessful, Gilvin will be a crucial part of the Lady Toppers’ offense. In her last season with WKU, Gilvin averaged career-highs in points (13.1), rebounds (6.3), assists (2.4), and steals (2.6), while leading the team in rebounds and steals.
