The quality and safety commission has warned it may take regulatory action if providers’ quarterly financial reports are repeatedly late.
The Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission has announced in its latest bulletin that it intends to take action against providers who repeatedly submit their Quarterly Financial Report late.
The commission warns that financial reporting is a mandatory obligation under the Aged Care Rules and that by submitting the QFR after the statutory deadline, providers are not complying with their obligations.
The next deadline for QFR submission is 4 August, relating to the 1 April–30 June reporting period.
