Women in Film and Television (WIFT) Australia has named the five emerging producers selected for the next phase of its catalyst program, where delegates are supported to observe the MIFF 37˚ South Market.
Lily Drummond (South Australia), Emilia Jolakoska (Western Australia), Lily Lunder and Koko Crozier (Victoria), Kate Fox (Tasmania), and Amanda Kaye (Queensland) will receive travel and accommodation assistance, tailored market preparation mentorship, access to selected MIFF 37˚ South networking events and State of Play sessions, attendance at WIFT Australia’s industry panel, and ongoing peer networking.
WIFT Australia chair Leanne Tonkes said the program was focused on developing producers as much as their projects.
“Through this delegation we’re giving emerging practitioners the opportunity to better understand how markets operate, build meaningful industry relationships and develop the confidence to pursue future market opportunities.
We’re delighted to support Lily, Emilia, Lily and Koko, Kate and Amanda as they learn more about MIFF 37˚ South Market’s global connection opportunities.”
