Jungle Entertainment’s comedy-drama He Had It Coming is heading to BBC iPlayer and BBC Three this month after the BBC acquired the eight-part series from global distributor Fifth Season. UK star Lydia West plays Elise, an awkward British scholarship student who forms an unlikely alliance with fashion influencer Barbara (Liu Bordizzo). BBC head of programme acquisition Nick Lee said the series, which premiered on Stan last November stood out for its tone. “He Had it Coming is a fun, pacey campus whodunnit with a vibrant poke into gender politics,” he said. He Had It Coming will be available on BBC iPlayer from Saturday, August 8, and begins on BBC Three at 11.15pm on Friday, August 15.
