In another closely contested boys' football fixture, Menengai High School stunned defending champions Highway Secondary School with a narrow 1-0 victory at the M-Pesa Foundation Academy. Takaba Day Secondary School produced one of the biggest wins of the day, thrashing St Philip's Baricho 7-1, while St Mary's School Yala defeated Tononoka Secondary School 5-1. Kesogon Secondary School also secured a convincing 3-0 (25-12, 25-19, 25-19) victory over Soweto Academy, while Aluor School defeated Mwanambeyu Secondary School in straight sets, 3-0 (25-15, 25-17, 25-17). Mwitoti Secondary School continued their impressive debut campaign with another dominant performance, beating Wajir Girls 3-0 (25-7, 25-10, 25-17).
