Thirteen British Columbia residents are being awarded the Medal of Good Citizenship in recognition of their exceptional commitment to strengthening the well-being of their communities, including a Cranbrook resident. Joanne Weatherall of Cranbrook will receive the Medal of Good Citizenship for enriching youth through Scouts Canada and lifelong service to community programs and organizations. She volunteers with other local organizations including the Cranbrook Garden Club and Rotary Club of Cranbrook Sunrise for the Kootenay Rockies Gran Fondo.
