It seems students at UC Santa Barbara had long forgotten about the Children’s Miracle Network fundraiser Dance Marathon — last hosted in 2018. Students at a previous Dance Marathon hold up signs indicating fundraising numbers. The Dance Marathon consists of four hours of activities, including performances from university and K-12 students, fundraising pushes, and an open dance floor. Throughout the school year, the Dance Marathon team plans to hold interest meetings, outreach events, and visits to local organizations to talk about fundraising strategies. Free admission and volunteer opportunities will be available at Dance Marathon.
