Coopers Brewery has released its 2026 Vintage Ale, featuring an experimental hop variety as part of the brewery’s annual limited-edition seasonal release. Now in its 26th year, the Vintage Ale series showcases a unique hop combination each year, with the 2026 edition pairing experimental hop HBC-1134 with US variety Krush. Michael Shearer, Managing Director of Coopers Brewery, said the latest Vintage Ale continues the tradition of producing a premium seasonal beer for the colder months. “As with all vintages, Coopers 2026 Vintage Ale is a limited release and expected to be highly sought after, so we encourage fans to secure their carton early.” Tasting notes for the 2026 Vintage Ale describe a “smooth, creamy palate with flavours of mango, passionfruit and stone fruit balanced by woody notes and malt character”.
