Red Arrows Aerobatics Team performing on 4th of July over New YorkA squadron of Hawk aircraft that constitute the RAF’s Red Arrows aerobatics team is stranded in Canada due to bad weather. The aircraft were flying back from the U.S. where they had gone to participate in air shows and a grand fly past over New York due the 4th of July celebrations. They stopped in Canada where bad weather made further flying risky. A RAF statement said: "Following a highly successful tour of the United States, the Red Arrows began a multi-stop journey back to the United Kingdom this week. However, due to a prolonged period of forecasted poor weather in the north-eastern regions of Canada, the team is postponing its return Atlantic crossing until further notice.
