Stephen Charles, 42, was arrested on Friday after allegedly raping multiple children over a span of eight years, having met them at Bronx shelters, according to police and sources. Before sexually abusing the victims in homes throughout the Morris Heights, Baychester, and Soundview neighborhoods of the Bronx, Charles allegedly preyed on them at shelters. According to police, the suspect also sexually assaulted an 18-year-old man and a 13-year-old girl.
