Dr. Kuehnel recently told WPR’s “Wisconsin Today” he is especially concerned about head injuries among young people.
Lyman is a part of a statewide working group dedicated to reducing traffic accidents involving e-bikes and e-scooters on Wisconsin roads.
Even if they could ban e-bikes, Lyman said he wouldn’t want to see them outright banned due to the accessibility they offer for people who otherwise wouldn’t have transportation.

What happens next as far as hospital visits depends on how adults respond, Dr. Kuehnel says.
