Long Beach provides update on lift station improvement projectsLONG BEACH, Miss. (WXXV)-The City of Long Beach is giving an update to their eight lift station improvement projects. The city saying these improvements will enhance the reliability and efficiency of the wastewater system. These projects were made possible through funding from the state municipality and county water infrastructure grant program as well as the American Rescue Plan Act. Those projects include:Ray Road and Klondyke StreetBeatline Road and Johnson RoadLatil StreetAlexander Road and Railroad StreetNorth Seashore AvenueWillow Creek DriveParkwood DriveDaughtery RoadAs a note, the only project impacting traffic is the Alexander Road and Railroad Street Lift Station.
