INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Indian River Transit’s GoLine has received its first national award from the American Public Transportation Association, taking the 2026 Outstanding Public Transportation System honor in the category for systems that provide fewer than 3 million annual passenger trips.
GoLine was named Outstanding System of the Year by the Florida Public Transportation Association in 2017, 2022 and 2025.
In 2018, Indian River Transit — including GoLine and Community Coach — received the Community Transportation Association of America’s Urban Community Transportation System of the Year award.
GoLine operates 14 fixed routes that link residents to jobs, schools, medical care, shopping, beaches and other destinations throughout Indian River County.
The award will be presented Oct. 6 during APTA’s 2026 Honors Ceremony in Chicago as part of the APTA TRANSform Conference and EXPO.
