SEBASTIAN — MedFast Urgent Care opened its newest location Monday at 13800 U.S. Highway 1 (Roseland), expanding the Brevard County-based network into Indian River County and giving Sebastian-area residents a walk-in option for non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries. MedFast Urgent Care Centers was founded in 2007 by Dr. David Williams, an emergency medicine physician and former flight surgeon who previously served as chairman of the emergency medicine department at Wuesthoff Health Systems. The Sebastian clinic marks MedFast’s first permanent presence in Indian River County, extending its reach along the Treasure Coast.
