Abercorn Sports Club fielded four men’s and women’s teams in the VMH Solicitors East of Scotland tennis leagues and were rewarded with some notable success. On the men’s side the 2nds won Division 8, the 3rds won Division 10 and the 4ths won Division 11 while the first team were promoted to Division 4 as runners up. Among the women the 2nds were promoted to Division 6 while the 1sts, 3rds and 4ths all maintained their position in the league structure.
