Easy GatheringThe home’s two living rooms, says Anand, “emerged naturally from the way the family inhabits the home.” One is conceived for guests, gatherings, and celebrations; the other for quieter, more private moments. In the more formal living room, terracotta and muted tones bring warmth and restraint, while the second living area is washed in a softer green. “We often returned to a thought by Tadao Ando: architecture should not speak too much. It should allow nature to speak,” adds Anand.
