They’re probably both the same thing. I’m a “Nowist,” which I learned from a musician in Alberta named Carolyn Mark. When I have a good idea and I think it’s a good idea, I say, “Let’s do it right now,” and get the wheels turning. That’s my best and worst quality because sometimes it leaves things I should probably do on the back burner while I’m chasing something that might just be a flash in the pan. On the other hand, it has given me so many opportunities in my career, including touring and gig opportunities.
