A night of casino games, food, cocktails and entertainment will help support a local nonprofit working to make the Social Security and disability benefits process easier for people who need it most. The Haddon Foundation will host Betting on a Better Future, a Vegas-style casino night fundraiser, on Wednesday, Oct. 7, at The Mansion on Main Street in Voorhees. Guests can enjoy professional gaming tables, dinner, cocktails, prizes and opportunities to connect with others while supporting the organization's mission. The Haddon Foundation was created after its founder experienced firsthand how difficult it can be to help someone navigate the Social Security and disability benefits system. The nonprofit provides guidance, education and one-on-one support to help people better understand the benefits process and access the resources they have earned.
