Paul Gibson, 36, of Schoolfield Road, Grays, was jailed at Basildon Crown Court on Thursday (July 30). He had pleaded guilty to six charges in March. Gibson admitted subjecting the victim to controlling or coercive behaviour. Gibson pleaded guilty to three further charges involving the same victim, all committed on February 1. The defendant also accepted two driving offences: driving whilst disqualified and without insurance, again on February 1.
