A road closure has been in place on London Road at the Tarpots junction since Saturday July 25, with drivers experiencing major delays due to traffic jams on Sadlers Farm roundabout as a result of the closure. Works will continue for the next phase which will see a lane closure on Croft Road at the junction with High Road until August 30. Carl Williams, head of investment delivery at Cadent said, “I am pleased to say that as of midnight tonight the road closure on London Road, Tarpots, Benfleet will be removed and the road will reopen to all traffic. “The work continues, with a road closure on Croft Road at the junction of High Road until August 30. "The Benfleet High Road of the junction will still have a lane closure from Rileys down to Marleys, but Tarpots junction will be fully reopen from midnight tonight.
