INDOT is announcing a road project affecting State Road 256 Jackson and Washington County starting tomorrow. The agency says that you will see daily road closures for State Road 256 starting on Tuesday. Crews will be closing the road to pave and repair bridge approaches between Interstate 65 and State Road 39. The road closures will be happening between 8 in the morning and 5 in the afternoon daily. The official detour for this project is U.S. 31 to State Road 250.
