Uplift Johnson County and Johnson County Senior Services is seeking urgent help to replace vans used to transport and provide services to seniors. According to Uplift Johnson County, two vehicles have recently been lost due to major mechanical issues. An emergency fundraising campaign for $50,000 is underway with Uplift Johnson County offering to match the first $15,000 donated. Each month, the senior services group provides more than 360 trips for dialysis treatment alone. The vans are also used to provide access to medical treatments, doctors appointments, grocery trips, prescription pick ups and more.
