Ganderbal, Aug 3: A 50-year-old woman from Kalaspati Rayil Gund in central Kashmir's Ganderbal district was seriously injured after being attacked by a wild bear in the Burzapati Behak area of central Kashmir's Ganderbal district on Monday. The injured woman has been identified as Rashida Begum, wife of Ghulam Dawood Gakhad, a resident of Kalaspati Rayil Gund. Soon after the incident, locals and Gund Police rushed to the spot and shifted the injured woman for medical assistance. She was later referred to SKIMS Soura in Srinagar through a 108 ambulance for specialised treatment. Police have taken cognisance of the incident, while the woman's condition is being monitored at SKIMS Soura.
