In a statement, the delegations urged him to take up their genuine demands with the administration to ensure their early redressal. The delegations expressed serious concern over the poor condition of roads, inner roads and link roads in several villages, particularly in the Khansahib constituency. They said the scarcity has severely affected the daily lives of residents and urged the administration to improve water supply in the affected villages. They also demanded that all pending water supply schemes be completed on a priority basis so that people receive a regular and adequate supply of drinking water. He said the district administration should ensure that pending road macadamisation works are completed before winter and that drinking water and electricity-related issues are addressed on priority.
