NOW: A soaking end to July bring us close to average on rainfall and it was warm, tooThe last day of July and the first day of August were very wet.
Our soaking rain definitely came to fruition with most of southeast Wisconsin picking up between 2-5" of rainfall.
Some of our northern counties didn't quite hit that 2" mark but still saw a good soaking 1.50".
Overall, the average July temperature was exactly 75 degrees which was 1.7 degrees above average and goes down as the 15th warmest July on record.
Now we head into the month of August which does average more rain than July at 3.65".
